During my internship at the Herreshoff Marine Museum, I worked for the graphic design and marketing associate, Svetlana Cutler.  My number one responsibility was working on the poster for the Regatta — the museum’s largest event of the year.  My concept for the poster was to use triangles (shape of sails) to create a diamond frame, then put information about the event in the corners of the poster and an image of a previous race in the frame.  I was then asked to brand the race by creating a logo for it.  My logo consisted of a transom of a boat and a crown, then text placed within.  The hardest part about this design was that, up until a few weeks before the race, information kept changing, and the typography therefore had to go through multiple iterations.
